As a Structured Cabling Installer with One Source Technologies, you’ll receive hands-on training in the Low Voltage and Technology Industry. This role involves installing, terminating, and testing network cabling in commercial settings, focusing on copper and fiber optic solutions for data, voice, AV, surveillance, and access systems. Under the mentorship of lead technicians, you’ll perform service/repair, installations, and maintenance tasks. Duties/Responsibilities: Learn to install and terminate data cables and set up pathways. Safely operate power tools, ladders, and MEWPs. Communicate effectively with team members. Follow the lead person’s instructions accurately. Collaborate with other trades for project coordination. Maintain job site cleanliness and professional appearance. Learn to read layouts of building and floor plans. Understand and follow safety regulations. Continuously learn and improve skills. Required Knowledge/Abilities/Behaviors: Mechanical aptitude and basic tool proficiency. Computer skills (MS Office). Trustworthy, dependable, and dedicated team player. Required Experience/Education/Certifications: No prior experience necessary. High School diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Physical Demands: Comfortable with prolonged standing, kneeling, and ladder climbing. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work at heights on MEWPs. Color differentiation for wire identification.
