Overview:Supports project teams using a wide range of developing professional skills. Performs basic design and technical tasks requiring application of standard techniques and knowledge while working under general supervision. Eager to learn, highly organized and willing to contribute creatively to the team.Responsibilities:Modifies or creates implementation documents, applying standard architectural techniques, collaborative design computations and procedures as assigned under directionPerforms routine architectural assignments and may have some design responsibility collaborating with other team members as designatedAssignments may include higher-level work for training/development purposesMay attend on-site visits, field reviews and client and/or project meetings as appropriateMay assist in preparing proposals, presentations, schedules and processing of implementation documentation and samplesMay participate in communication with other disciplines, vendors and contractors to incorporate information into project requirementsParticipates in team meetings to discuss project issues, design and technical issues and coordination with other disciplinesTravel may be requiredQualifications:Education and ExperienceAccredited professional degree in Architecture or related field requiredTypically 0-3 years of experienceLicenses and CertificationsOn the path to Architectural RegistrationSustainable design accreditation preferredKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAdvanced - expert-level experience, knowledge or skillsIntermediate - experience, knowledge or skills required to produce high-quality solutions or workBasic - familiar with primary concepts or capabilities and may perform elementary functions depending on roleBasic skills in Revit, Rhino and Grasshopper required; intermediate preferredBasic skills in Bluebeam, Twinmotion, Enscape or other visualization tools requiredBasic knowledge of Navisworks and Dynamo requiredBasic skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign requiredBasic skills in MS Office Suite requiredBasic knowledge of sustainability and integrated design guidelines requiredBasic knowledge of materials, construction techniques, building codes and QA/QC process requiredBasic presentation, graphic and visualization skills to communicate ideas requiredBasic experience with the entire project lifecycle through post-occupancy requiredBasic ability to communicate in a clear, concise and professional manner both verbally and in writing requiredBasic ability to problem solve and collaborate on innovative solutions requiredBasic ability to work in a team environment requiredBasic ability to work on multiple projects at the same time requiredBasic ability to effectively meet deadlines at expected quality requiredBase Salary Range: $64k to $72k annually - Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, New York, Washington DC, San Diego & Seattle locations only.The estimate displayed represents the general base salary range of candidates hired in the Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, New York, Washington DC, San Diego & Seattle locations only. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role.
