Job DescriptionSwedish Neuro-Ophthalmology | Swedish Neuroscience InstituteNeuro-Ophthalmologist (MD) - 0.6 FTESwedish Medical Group is seeking a part-time Neuro Ophthalmologist at the Cherry Hill campus in Seattle, Washington.Practice Overview:Established neuro-ophthalmology practice within the Swedish Neuroscience Institute (10+ years).Current team includes 2 Neuro-Ophthalmologist physicians (1.4 FTE total).Strong multidisciplinary collaboration with neurology and neurosurgeryRobust clinical support including patient care coordinators, ophthalmic technicians, and a dedicated clinic RNSchedule & Volume:0.6 FTE (21.6 patient-facing hours) with a predictable, fixed scheduleClinical days are Monday, Wednesday, and FridayClinic hours are weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.Daily volumes range from 8 to 16 patients, capped at 16 per dayNew patient visits are 60 minutes; follow-up visits are 30 minutesProcedures & Resources:In-clinic Botox procedures with a dedicated half-day blockAdvanced diagnostic tools including OCT, Humphrey and Goldman visual fields, and B-scan ultrasoundAdult-only patient population with a high consultative referral volumeCall:Call coverage about 1 week per monthCoverage includes multiple Swedish locationsCall burden is minimal, often with few or no overnight callsHighlights:Consistent three-day workweek supports strong work-life balanceIdeal for physicians seeking flexibility, phased practice, or academic interestsCapped volumes and strong staffing allow focus on complex neuro-ophthalmic careRare opportunity to practice subspecialty medicine in a premier neuroscience institute part-timeCompensation is between $191,294 and $243,864 per yearThe compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position.
