Restaurant Manager - TOPPER'S (seasonal)TOPPER'S at the Wauwinet is seeking a seasonal Restaurant Manager at our fine dining restaurant for the 2026 season to manage all aspects and functions of the food and beverage outlets.This position will primarily cover breakfast and lunch service. This position starts in April and runs through October. Responsibilities include:Establish par levels for supplies and equipmentMeet with the Chef to review daily specials and 86'd itemsReview sales for previous day; resolve discrepancies with Accounting. Track revenue against budget.Ensure that staff report to work as scheduledCoordinate breaks for staffAssign work and side duties to staffConduct pre-shift meeting with staff and review all information pertinent to the day's businessReview the reservation book, pre-assign designated tables and follow up on all special requests.Anticipate heavy business times and organize procedures to handle extended waiting lines.Run system closing reports and ensure that all servers' checks are closed before they sign outEnsure all closing duties for staff are completed before staff sign outFoster and promote a cooperative working climate, maximizing productivity and employee moraleBe on the floor and available to staff at all times during hours of serviceComplete all paperwork and closing duties in accordance with departmental standardsReview status of assignments and any follow-up action with on-coming supervisorRequirements include previous supervisory or management experience in an fine dining restaurant.
