Full Stack IoT Software Engineer

We have partnered with a growing solar technology company to bring on a Full Stack IoT Software Engineer, joining a team building a new IoT product family from the ground up. Open to both senior candidates and strong mid-level engineers looking to grow into IoT.𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲:You'll work across IoT edge computing, cloud applications, and web and mobile interfaces, alongside electrical and software engineers bringing the product family to market. The role runs roughly 60 to 70 percent frontend and Azure-hosted application work, with the remainder in backend services and embedded Linux deployment.𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴:• A few years developing commercial, cloud-connected software• Frontend skills in React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS and JavaScript• Backend experience in C#/.NET, Python, Node.js or Java, with Azure or a comparable cloud environment𝗡𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 (𝗯𝗼𝗻𝘂𝘀, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱):• Embedded Linux and Yocto experience, with Docker, containerd and Azure IoT Edge modules• Wireless protocol experience, LoRaWAN or BLE• AWS, GitHub, or cybersecurity and authentication protocol knowledge𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿:• Full-time, hybrid role based in Phoenix, AZ• A ground-floor role shaping a brand-new product line in a growing sector• Direct reporting line to the Director of Electrical and Software EngineeringThe level is flexible where the fundamentals are strong.
