Our client in North Carolina is seeking an experienced Anesthetist for a 120-day assignment, commencing Jul 6, 2026. This inpatient-focused role involves 7a-3p shifts and a 1:5 call schedule, including every fifth weekend with a 20-minute response time. The Anesthetist will provide comprehensive care, specializing in epidural placement and a range of surgical procedures such as general, orthopedic, urological, gynecological, and podiatry cases. Responsibilities and Duties Provide inpatient-only anesthesia care. Demonstrate proficiency in Epidural Placement, including labor epidurals and spinals/ITN in obese patients. Perform procedures for General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Urology, Gynecological Surgery, and Podiatry cases. Be comfortable managing pediatric patients. Provide occasional moderate procedural sedation in the ER. Manage a 1:5 call schedule, including every fifth weekend, with call covered from home and a 20-minute response time. Provide Labor and Delivery Epidural coverage and manage after-hours epidurals when on call. Expect not to respond to codes or serve as backup in the ER. Additional Information Board Certifications: National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS EMR: Epic (experience preferred) Work within a 5 OR facility with an endoscopy suite. Practice in an established setting with 4 experienced CRNAs and 1 MDA support.
