Position Overview:A premier healthcare facility near Fort Bragg, North Carolina, is seeking a skilled Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) physician for a locum tenens opportunity. Assignment Details: Role:Locum Tenens OB/GYN Physician Coverage Type:24-Hour Call Only Dates Needed:December 27-29, 2024 January 4-5, 2025 February 28, March 1-2, 2025Practice Setting:Inpatient only (no outpatient duties required) Location:Near Fort Bragg, North Carolina Practice Highlights: Patients Per Shift:Varies based on patient needs On-Call Responsibilities:Available for emergent C-sections and vaginal deliveries Handle emergent gynecologic procedures as neededAdditional Support:No supervision of residents or advanced practice providers required Facility does not require hospital or surgery center privilegesSkills and Certifications Required: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology Active NC medical license, NC DEA with NC address, and NC Medicaid credential Must be fully vaccinated Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, ABLS Skilled in:Routine and complex deliveries, including VBAC, breech, multiple births Surgical gynecology (minor and major procedures) Obstetric ultrasound interpretation (Level I and Level II) Advanced OB/GYN procedures including amniocentesis, forceps, and cesarean deliveryAdditional Requirements: Providers must have an active Medicare PECOS enrollment No recent or open malpractice cases Must be credentialed with Medicare and able to submit recent case logs (last 24 months) Prefer providers within driving distance or with capped travel expenses Credentialing & Support: Estimated Credentialing Timeframe:10 days Electronic Medical Records (EMR):MediTech 6.1 Travel:Reimbursement available (travel costs, including mileage, rental car, and airfare) Lodging:Hospital-recommended accommodations provided Why This Opportunity?
