Senior System Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure solutions that support critical business operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Windows Server administration , virtualization technologies (Hyper-V and VMware) , and enterprise infrastructure management. Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, administer, and maintain Windows Server environments, including installation, configuration, upgrades, and patch management Manage and optimize virtualization platforms, including Hyper-V and VMware ESXi/vSpher e Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain infrastructure systems to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance Administer enterprise storage, networking, and backup solutions Implement and maintain security controls, compliance standards, and disaster recovery strategies Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver infrastructure solutions that support business applications and operational needs Provide Tier 3 support and technical escalation for complex infrastructure and system issues Develop and maintain technical documentation, system configurations, procedures, and infrastructure diagrams Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Infrastructure Management, or a related technical role Strong experience administerin g Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019/20 22 environments Hands-on experience wit h Hyper -V an d VMware ESXi/vSphe r Solid understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and identity management services Experience with enterprise storage solutions (SAN/NAS) and backup platforms such a s Veeam, Commvault, or similar technologies Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, includ ing TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, and load balancing Experience with automation and scripting using PowerShell Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skill Preferred Qualifications Microsoft, VMware, or related certification s (MCSA, MCSE, VCP, etc) Experience with infrastructure monitoring and alerting tools such as SolarWinds, SCOM , or similar platforms Familiarity with cloud technologies, includ ing Microsoft Azure and/or AWS Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating within a team environment What We're Looking For A proactive, solutions-oriented professional with a passion for infrastructure technology Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Commitment to maintaining secure, reliable, and scalable enterprise systems #J-18808-Ljbffr
