The Vice President of Marketing will be a key leader in our organization responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing and sales strategies that enhance our market position, drive revenue growth, and strengthen customer loyalty. This position will oversee all marketing and sales activities, including market research, advertising, and promotions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing and sales, with experience in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement marketing plans, strategies, and sales initiatives that align and represent our brand
Oversee all marketing and sales activities, including market research, daily/weekly sales data for the organization, advertising, and promotions
Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of marketing and sales strategies with overall company objectives
Ownership of the weekly ad, analyze its performance before and after it runs to ensure it will and does deliver positive sales growth for the organization
Ensure successful execution and analysis of all advertising and social media
Lead development of all social media platforms guaranteeing it reflects our brand precisely
Manage and mentor marketing and sales teams
Conduct market research to identify trends and customer data to identify opportunities for growth
Develop and manage marketing and sales budgets
Administer the customer loyalty program, utilize for effective sales strategies
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
Manage, develop, and implement our e-commerce program
Signage for in-store sales and promotions
Handle all coordination with outside vendors for advertising and e-commerce
Track and monitor donation requests and coordinate sales around donations
Evaluate, monitor, and implement 3rd party sales building programs
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field
Proven experience (10+ years) in senior marketing and sales roles, preferably within the grocery or retail industry
Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to analyze market trends and customer data to identify opportunities for growth
Experience with budget management and financial analysis
