Job DescriptionWhat we’re looking for …This client-facing role requires country-wide company-paid travel up to 75% with 25% in-office for continuing training/administration and possible hybrid remote. The ideal candidate for this position will serve as EII’s customer liaison and brand ambassador responsible for installation, maintenance, problem resolution, and customer training. You will own the system in terms of reliability and you will own the client relationship in terms of overall satisfaction. You will be our ‘go-to’ subject matter expert for the client and the EII engineering team.The ideal candidate for this position is a technician or engineer who has direct experience with postal sortation hardware and automation. Alternatively, we are looking for an electro-mechanical type who has a good deal of training and experience in a comparable industry such as business machines, manufacturing hardware, or other automation devices – and one who can quickly ramp up to our product line.You have an excellent electrical, mechanical, and software aptitude and training.You have experience working with servos, PLCs and other electronic controls, cameras and other sensing technology, and industrial machinery in general. Your higher-level education matches this role.You’re computer savvy and MS Office skilled and should be comfortable working with software and networking.You have a valid driver’s license.You exhibit a helper mentality with organizational, prioritization, solution-based skills.You have excellent interpersonal skills and strong verbal and written expertise.You simultaneously balance multiple requests and projects.You want to be a key member of a dynamic, entrepreneurial organization.What You’re Looking For …You are an independent type who likes to travel. You’re looking for a role in a company with a strong and healthy culture in which you will provide the following:Travel to customer sites as needed for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and training.Take ownership of customer issues and see problems through to resolution.Research, diagnose, and identify solutions to customer problems.Document details of each customer interaction.Make and receive phone calls with customers.Synthesize product knowledge and extrapolate customer information to answer questions for or about the customer.Instruct customers on maintaining or replacing parts and equipment.Instruct customers on configuration and use of equipment.Install patches and software upgrades.Act as the counterpart to our Customer Support Technicians.Provide rotational after-hours support.Company DescriptionEngineering Innovation, Inc.
