This role leads internal and offshore teams and oversees key systems including IFS ERP, Power BI, Salesforce, mobile applications, and integration architecture.Reporting to the CIO, the Director partners closely with business stakeholders to define and execute a multi-year IT strategy focused on modernization, scalability, security, and measurable business value. This position is based in Los Angeles, CA, with an in-office presence required 4–5 days per week and occasional travel.Experience12+ years of experience in IT and enterprise systems7+ years managing IFS Cloud environments, preferably in field service or manufacturing organizationsProven leadership experience overseeing enterprise applications, platforms, and cross-functional initiativesDemonstrated success leading enterprise technology modernization efforts (ERP, data platforms, analytics, cloud, infrastructure)Experience implementing at least one full IFS ERP Cloud deployment across multiple modulesBackground leading ERP, CRM, and financial systems implementations or migrationsExperience in post-M&A technology integrationsExperience working in multi-unit, multi-brand, or portfolio-based organizationsPreferred background in consulting and corporate IT environmentsIndustry experience in landscaping, field services, construction, or multi-unit retail/distribution environments preferredEducationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field requiredMaster’s degree or advanced education preferredSpecialized SkillsDeep expertise in IFS Cloud, including Aurena, Business Reporter, and mobile applicationsStrong knowledge of PL/SQL, data migration, custom configurations, and reporting toolsExperience with Power BI, React Native, Python, Salesforce, ADP, Dayforce, Tibco, and Bid2WinFamiliarity with AI tools and automation platforms that extend ERP capabilitiesKnowledge of change management and process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)Strong vendor management and stakeholder engagement skillsAbility to influence in a matrixed environment without direct authorityExperience with IT governance, budgeting, and headcount planningOther RequirementsValid driver’s license10 – 20% TravelKey ResponsibilitiesLead and manage enterprise applications, including IFS ERP, Power BI, mobile platforms, and integration solutionsOversee development, support, enhancements, and system integrations across business functionsPartner with Finance, Accounting, Operations, and HR to support system requirements, testing, and deploymentsDrive enterprise-wide technology and process transformation initiativesLead integration of newly acquired companies, from assessment through go-liveEstablish SOPs, playbooks, and reporting frameworks to ensure operational consistency across locationsCollaborate with business leadership and CIO on long-term technology strategyEnsure solutions follow industry best practices and enable strong user adoptionProvide leadership, mentorship, and development for IT team membersManage vendor relationships and ensure adherence to vendor management standardsServe as a point of contact for audits and regulatory matters related to IT systemsEnhance end-user effectiveness through training, adoption strategies, and support modelsMaintain deep expertise in IFS ERP functionality and emerging best practicesParticipate in IT governance, budgeting, and resource planningPhysical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
