RF Systems Engineer

*Overview* We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Applications Engineer to join our Applications Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical/ electronic background. Radio Frequency Experience is preferred but not needed. This position involves aspects of both engineering and sales/customer service, so both strong technical skills and interpersonal skills are required. *Duties* * Develop comprehensive knowledge of our products and their place in LMR networks * Talk about and explain the technical aspects of our products and services to our customers * Collaborate with the sales team to understand and deliver customer requirements * Support the sales team on phone calls and meetings with customers * Understand what the customer needs and propose custom solutions using our products and services * Create technical drawings and documents for quote packages * Help clients solve problems with existing equipment * Work with the production floor team as needed to optimize systems prior to shipment * Create and maintain bills of materials for custom systems * Represent the high standard of TX RX Systems during customer interface on technical and application discussions *Skills* * Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics or equivalent experience. * Radio Frequency System experience is a plus but not needed. * Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, customer service, and active listening skills * Strong problem-solving skills, organization skills, and attention to detail * Willing to be thoroughly trained in TX RX Systems and the land mobile radio (LMR) industry * Team player with a positive attitude *Essential Job Functions* * Operate computer and keyboard and be proficient with Microsoft Office 365 * Communicate effectively using written, speech, hearing, and vision skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Ability to Commute: * Angola, NY 14006 (Required) Ability to Relocate: * Angola, NY 14006: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
