Construction Foreman

Tri-Star Construction is seeking experienced Heavy Civil Foremen to lead field crews on concrete, asphalt, earthwork, and/or underground utility projects. We're looking for a hands-on leader who is committed to safety, quality, and production while developing the next generation of construction professionals. Pay: Competitive salary (DOE – Depending on Experience) What We Offer Competitive pay Comprehensive benefits package Company truck Company phone and ipad Weekly pay Employee referral bonus Annual safety boot voucher Paid vacation Paid holidays Career advancement opportunities What You'll Do Lead and supervise heavy civil construction crews on daily operations, acting as first in command in Superintendent's absence Assist in coordinating labor, equipment, materials, and production activities Read and interpret plans, specifications, grades, and project layouts Work closely with Superintendents and Construction Managers to keep projects on schedule and within budget Train, mentor, and develop crew members Complete daily production reports, timekeeping, and project documentation in HeavyJob software Monitor quality and ensure work meets project specifications Operate heavy equipment as needed Promote a strong safety culture by conducting safety meetings, inspections, and job hazard reviews. Identify and solve field challenges while maintaining production goals. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Five or more years of heavy civil construction experience preferred Previous leadership or foreman experience preferred Experience with concrete, asphalt, earthwork, or underground utilities Ability to read construction plans and specifications Understanding of construction scheduling, production, quantities, and cost control Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Must pass pre-employment and random drug testing Work Environment Outdoor work in all weather conditions Standing, walking, climbing, bending, stooping, crouching, lifting, driving, and operating construction equipment Workweek in excess of 40 hours when needed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required Why Tri-Star Construction?
