Our technologically innovative systems have been installed with prime customers worldwide.https://scanmaster-irt.com/about-scanmaster-systems/ Field Service Engineer (FSE) Job description:Responsible for providing on-site support, maintenance, and repair services for the multi-disciplinary, high-accuracy ultrasound scanners provided by ScanMaster worldwide. This role will primarily directly support a specific customer, one of the largest prime aerospace manufacturers in the world. Location:Based in USA. Columbus, GA is preferred. Will require approximately 20% of travel to other US-based customers, international travel when needed.Some periodic extended training will occur at ScanMaster's HQ in Israel. Basic Requirements:Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and possess a passport.Relevant associate’s degree / vocational certificate – Engineering field preferred.Minimum 3-5 years of technical / mechanical experience, preferred in the aerospace / aviation field.Willingness to relocate to Georgia (relocation assistance available for qualified candidates). Key Responsibilities and DutiesInstallation and Commissioning: Install, configure, calibrate, and test new or existing equipment and multi-disciplinary systems, ensuring they operate correctly and set up.Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical, electrical, or software issues.Preventive Maintenance: Performing scheduled maintenance, inspections, and upgrades to ensure long-term reliability and prevent future malfunctions.Technical Support and Training: Providing customers with technical guidance, answering product-related questions, and training end-users (and/or agents).Mechanical Geometrical Measurements (Metrology): Performing mechanical / geometrical measurement of UT systems. Includes utilization of 3D laser and granite block.UT Electronic Calibration: Performing Electronic (RF Amplitude and Signal) Measurements to the company UT equipment, using Scoop Analyzer, Signal Generator & Attenuator.Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining detailed records of all service activities, including repairs performed (Service Calls) and parts consumed.Customer Communication: Acting as a primary technical POC, communicating effectively with customers regarding service status, technical issues, and billing. Required Skills:Technical Aptitude: Experienced in working with multi-disciplinary systems including mechanical, electrical systems & circuitry, software/PLC’s (Programmable Logic Controllers).Diagnostics: Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics to diagnose complex problems remotely and on site.Communication: Fluently able to communicate in English both in writing and discussion. Additional languages are an advantageCustomer Service: Excellent interpersonal skills for working directly with clients / agents and representing the company professionally.
