This role ensures equipment is fully operational within the client’s environment and provides hands-on training to end users to promote efficiency and satisfaction.This position plays a key role in delivering high-quality service and creating a seamless customer experience through technical expertise, clear communication, and professional on-site support.Essential FunctionsDeliver and install network copiers, printers, and multifunction devices at customer locationsConfigure network connectivity, including installation of print drivers and scanning softwareConnect equipment to client workstations and servers and ensure compatibility with existing systemsPerform firmware updates, rebuild operating systems, and configure print controllers as neededTest all device functionality to confirm proper operation prior to leaving the client siteTroubleshoot installation and connectivity issues to minimize downtime and ensure successful setupProvide end-user training on device functionality, including copy, print, and scan featuresMaintain a high level of customer satisfaction through clear communication and professional serviceAccurately complete installation documentation, including capturing customer signatures and time entryMaintain compliance with service and administrative procedures in a timely manner Support additional operational tasks such as equipment handling, delivery preparation, or warehouse activities when neededOther DutiesPerform all work in a safe manner, including loading, unloading, and transporting equipment Complete post-installation paperwork, including required service and asset tracking documentationAttend departmental and company meetings as requiredProvide backup support to helpdesk or other technical teams as needed Assist with operational support functions, including setup or distribution activitiesPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredTechnical certification or associate degree in IT, networking, or related field preferredPrevious experience in copier installation, field service, IT support, or related technical role preferredExperience working with networked devices and client environments is a plusRequired SkillsBasic networking knowledge (IP addressing, driver installation, connectivity troubleshooting)Ability to install, configure, and test hardware and software in client environmentsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExcellent customer service and communication skillsAbility to train users with varying technical skill levelsStrong attention to detail and documentation accuracyAbility to work independently and manage time effectively in a field-based rolePhysical ability to lift and move equipment safely and perform installation activities
