This position will be an integral part of our growing, state-of-the art, machine shop, with 5 new machines in the last 3 years and another scheduled to be installed next year. The successful candidate will be a team player with a positive attitude who will be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Duties And ResponsibilitiesSet up, load and operate various 5 axis machines in cellular configurationProgrammers are responsible for main programing, machinists monitor and modify programs as needed.Perform limited work with CNC vertical and horizontal boring millsParticipate in lean, continuous improvement and six sigma work teamsBe familiar with safety policies and proceduresWork safe and participate in safety meetingsQualificationsQUALIFICATIONSMust be a team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethicMust have a minimum of 2 years experience with 5 axis machines (3 or more years preferred – salary based on experience)Must have experience with Mastercam programing and/or Heidenhain controlsMust be able to read prints and do basic shop mathTrade school or higher level education preferredTo learn more about KTC visit: https://www.kellertechnology.com/KTC is an Equal Opportunity Employer and strong advocate of workforce diversity.
