Infrastructure / Operations Manager – Consumer Electronics & Device Diagnostics

*TechTom LLC* TechTom LLC is seeking a highly organized and technically skilled Operations Manager to help oversee our diagnostics and refurbishment operations for Apple, Microsoft, and other consumer electronic devices. This is a leadership-focused role for someone with strong technical knowledge, operational awareness, and the ability to manage workflow efficiency in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate is experienced in device diagnostics, team coordination, quality control, and operational process improvement. This position is not a general warehouse management role. We are looking for someone who understands consumer electronics, device processing workflows, and how to maintain high-quality standards while leading a productive team. Key Responsibilities * Oversee daily diagnostics, grading, testing, and processing operations for Apple and other electronic devices. * Supervise and support technicians to ensure productivity, accuracy, and quality standards are consistently met. * Assist in managing workflow across device intake, testing, data erasure, inventory handling, and outbound processing. * Monitor KPIs, technician performance, turnaround times, and return rates. * Conduct quality assurance reviews to minimize warranty claims and operational errors. * Assist with training, retraining, and onboarding of technicians and operations staff. * Troubleshoot escalated technical issues involving hardware, software, and operating systems. * Coordinate with management to improve operational efficiency, organization, and workflow systems. * Maintain accurate inventory tracking and operational documentation. * Help enforce workplace standards, organization, and process accountability throughout the department. Qualifications * 2+ years of experience in electronics diagnostics, refurbishment, IT hardware support, or device repair operations. * Previous experience in a lead, supervisory, or management capacity preferred. * Strong working knowledge of: * Apple devices and macOS/iOS * Microsoft devices and Windows OS * Android operating systems * Familiarity with device testing, data erasure, grading standards, and refurbishment workflows. * Experience managing workflow, productivity metrics, or operational KPIs. * Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. * Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-moving environment. * Comfortable using Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and inventory or processing software platforms. Preferred Experience * Consumer electronics refurbishment or resale industry experience. * Experience with warehouse operations as they relate to electronics processing and inventory flow. * Familiarity with quality control standards, or electronics lifecycle management. * Experience reducing return rates and improving quality assurance systems. * Experience training or mentoring technicians.
