Position SummaryThe Flexo Operator is responsible for operating the Flexo machine. This machine prints using flexographic ink, is capable of die cutting, scores, slots, folds, and glues corrugated sheets to manufacture finished boxes. Be a solutions providerWhile building on our core values of:Help 1stTake ownershipDo the right thingExpect excellenceEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesInputs orders to the machine consolePerforms machine set-up in accordance with specifications on the Factory Job TicketResponsible for cutting dies and hand holes to be secured and tightened before running the machineSet-up of automatic bundlerMonitors quality of the product throughout and makes necessary adjustments to print as neededRelieves all members for breaks and assists helpers with any plate removal, ink, etc.Responsible for production feedback to crew and to SupervisorMaintains a clean work area free of trip hazards and spillsAbility to work in excess of 40 hours, as business needs ariseRegular and reliable attendanceAny other task or duty that is deemed necessary by management.Cultural CompetenciesHelp First means being a reliable team member serving everyone, internally and externally.
