Primary Care Physician

*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated Primary Care Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate and comprehensive medical care to patients in a primarily mental health setting. The Physician will also have the opportunity to provide wellness visits, physicians, and build and maintain relationships with individuals and their families through the lifespan. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of our community, while allowing the Physician to engage in work/life balance. *Responsibilities* - Conduct routine check-ups and physical examinations - Conduct assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and mental status examinations - Diagnose and treat various medical conditions - Develop and implement patient care plans - Order and interpret diagnostic tests - Provide guidance on preventive healthcare measures - Collaborate with specialists for complex cases - Maintain accurate medical records - Work with colleagues in patient's mental health crisis situations *Skills* - Proficiency in alimentary system assessment and treatment - Familiarity with ICD-10 coding standards - Experience in primary care - Strong understanding of physiology - Experience in psychiatry/mental health a plus - Ability to develop comprehensive care plans for patients This is a great position for physicians wishing to work full time and engage in a close-knit family practice, or physicians wishing to add on part time hours to their current full time position.
