This position is focused on ensuring continuity during a team member's leave and requires someone who can learn quickly and take ownership of day-to-day processes.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts Receivable ManagementProcess and post customer payments (credit cards, ACH/wires, checks) with accuracy and timelinessPerform daily cash application and reconciliationReview and resolve billing discrepancies in collaboration with internal teams and third-party partnersMaintain accurate records and documentation of customer accountsManage shared and individual AR inboxes, responding promptly to inquiriesCollectionsMonitor aging accounts and execute timely follow-up on outstanding balancesManage daily collections: Prioritize and execute daily collections tasks, including monitoring delinquent accounts, maintaining detailed collection notes, and ensuring appropriate follow-up actions.Communicate with customers via phone, email, and written correspondence to resolve past-due accountsMaintain clear and detailed collection notes and follow-up actionsBuild and maintain positive relationships with customers while addressing sensitive financial mattersPrepare aging reports and escalate issues appropriately when neededSkills And QualificationsStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive conversations professionallyA customer service mindset with consistent follow-throughHigh attention to detail and strong organizational skillsA proactive approach and a sense of ownership in your workAbility to learn quickly through hands-on training and apply knowledge independentlyProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word); ERP experience is a plusAssociate degree or higher preferred2+ years of accounts receivable, collections, or related experience (or equivalent experience)What Success Looks LikeSuccess in this role means becoming confident in managing accounts receivable workflows and collections activities independently by the time the leave period begins, while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and strong internal and external communication.Why Cobb Technologies?At Cobb, we believe that taking care of our employees leads to extraordinary results for our customers.
