Z/OS product installation & support (CA products, IBM)
Supervisory skills to mentor staff
User exits (REXX, COBOL, BAL/ASSEMBLER)
I/O configuration expertise
Z/OS mainframe performance & tuning
Debugging skills
Strong knowledge of monitoring tools
**** Position is very "hands on" but proven leadership capabilities are very important
Responsibilities include leading on Z/OS systems programming, product installations, support, mentor staff, and managing performance tuning.
