Reports to: Store Sr. Assistant Sales Manager
Direct Reports: Sales Lead, Sales Specialist and Sales Support
Primary Purpose: The Assistant Store Manager drives sales growth as the leader of customer experience on the sales floor through growing and developing the sales team to deliver individual and team success.
Key Responsibilities:
Leads the sales floor and drives store results through the sales team and creating a selling environment
Assumes total store leadership in absence of the Store Sr. Assistant Sales Manager and is a partner in the strategic planning of short and long term goals
Oversees customer experience, overall appearance and day to day operations of the store, in partnership (or in absences of) with the Store Manager
Develops and executes short and long term strategies to drive store sales
Role models, coaches and develops best-in-class selling behaviors
Leads and inspires associates to unlock individual potential for extraordinary selling results
Develops associates’ product knowledge which in turn, enables high performance selling
Responsible to deliver monthly performance reviews and create action plans if not meeting performance standard
Responsible to help Sales Specialists achieve their daily sales targets
Keeping an awareness of, and building personal capability in, loss prevention
Supporting all activities related to providing a safe working environment
Understanding and demonstrating Company values
Leads and or participates in the company’s personal development and philanthropic initiatives
Responsibility for the management of the store, including directing the work of direct reports and is responsible for the store’s culture and associate engagement.

Assisting in housekeeping of sales floor and communicating maintenance issues

Previous experience leading leaders and associate teams
Proven ability to lead a pay for performance selling team is preferred
