REGISTERED HYGIENIST FOR WILSONVILLE OFFICE

Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Training & development JOB: Our established dental practice in Wilsonville, Oregon, is hiring a REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST for a part-time position, two days per week. Our practice focuses on providing comprehensive dental care in a supportive and welcoming environment. We take pride in building long-term relationships with our patients while delivering high-quality preventive and periodontal care. Our team values professionalism, efficiency, and creating a comfortable experience for every patient. We are looking for a hygienist who is confident in patient education, preventive care, and periodontal therapy while maintaining excellent patient relationships and efficient clinical flow. SKILLS AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Performing dental cleanings, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing Conducting periodontal charting and comprehensive oral health assessments Taking digital dental radiographs Screening patients for signs of periodontal disease and other oral health concerns Assisting the dentist with diagnosing and treatment planning Educating patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, and preventive care Administering local anesthetic as permitted by Oregon licensure Maintaining accurate clinical notes and documentation Ensuring proper infection control and sterilization protocols Providing a positive and comfortable experience for patients The ideal candidate is professional, compassionate, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced dental environment while maintaining excellent patient care. SOFTWARE: WE use Eaglesoft. SCHEDULE: Part-time – 2 days per week The schedule includes Thursday plus one additional weekday of your choice (Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday).
