The Banquet Server plays an essential role in delivering exceptional service to our members and guests during a variety of events, including weddings, banquets, corporate functions, and social gatherings. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, upscale environment.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements.• Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table arrangements, linens, glassware, silverware, and other service ware.• Serve food and beverages professionally and efficiently, ensuring presentation and quality standards are met.• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests, providing attentive and personalized service.• Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas throughout events.• Handle and deliver food and beverages with care, ensuring proper presentation and portioning.• Clear tables and reset for subsequent courses or events, adhering to sanitation standards.• Verify orders with the kitchen and bar staff, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.• Assist with event breakdown and cleanup, ensuring the venue is left in excellent condition.• Follow all safety, sanitation, and health regulations, including proper handling of food and beverages.• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and exceptional member/guest experiences.• Uphold the club's standards of professionalism, appearance, and service excellence at all times.• Friendly, courteous, and attentive.• Team player with a positive attitude.• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper service techniques.• Ability to handle multiple tables and prioritize tasks efficiently.COMPETENCIES - To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
