Our exceptional quality is driven by a deep investment in and the daily practice of continually improving our people, processes, and products.About the Opportunity:As a Maintenance Mechanic II, you will work with the team and/or team lead to repair and replace pumps and motors, diagnose issues with CNC machines as well as hydraulic and pneumatic presses, waterjet and 5 axis lasers.Location: Eastford CTThis is a full-time 2nd shift role working Monday through Friday 2:30pm - 11:00pmResponsibilities:Diagnose and repair breakdowns of various machines and equipment and facilitiesKeep inventory of shop supplies and parts and report to the Lead.Perform preventative maintenance on facilities and machinery by scheduled deadlineAssist with snow removal around facility entrances/stairs to keep employees safeAssist EHS with hazardous waste accumulation area checks, safety walks.Keeping the shop and work area clean while maintaining a safe working areaLooking up parts to make necessary repairs and communicating back to the department lead.Performs other related duties as assigned.Required Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED2 years of maintenance and/or mechanical experience in a manufacturing environmentMust be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.2 years of Hydraulic trouble shooting and repair experience2 years of 120-480-volt 3 phase electrical experiencePreferred Qualifications:Forklift/ Man lift experiencePLC trouble shooting experienceExperience rebuilding pumpsPlumbing, light carpentry experienceWelding experienceCNC repair/operating experienceWillingness to learn new skillsSelf-starter/motivated team playerWillingness to work on callMust have basic hand toolsStrong Mechanical skillsStrong trouble shooting skillsWorking Conditions:Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment.Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walkMust be able to climb ladder, work on platforms, and climb stairs.Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.Must be able to work outside in various weather conditionsAcknowledgements:The above job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and standards of the position.
