About the job Mid Backend Java Developer Java Developer with experience in developing J2EE applications using REST/JSON, Spring, SpringBoot, J2EE. Designs, develops, and implements web-based Java applications to support business requirements. Follows approved Agile life cycle methodologies, creates design documents & performs program coding. Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation. Responsibilities Develop and maintain Java/J2EE applications using REST/JSON, Spring, SpringBoot, JSP, Servlets, JDBC, JPA, Web Services (REST, SOAP), XSLT, XML. Design, develop, and implement unit and functional tests; participate in code reviews. Assist with database design, including stored procedures, DML, and DDL tasks. Contribute to build and deployment processes (Maven); work with Jenkins and code management tools (Git, SVN) / configuration management. Provide production support and issue resolution. Preferred Skills Experience working in an Agile development environment Experience with JIRA Excellent communication and teamwork skills Experience with performance tools and hands-on debugging on any preferred IDE Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and deployment pipelines Bill Rate: $50/hr for approximately 40 hours per week Type: 1099 or C2C Work Authorization: H1B, GC or USC Location: 100% Remote#J-18808-Ljbffr
