Hourly Rate:$30 - $34 per hour
Paid Time Off:Start with 48 hours, increasing to 168 hours with tenure
Paid Holidays:7 annually (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas)

As aTraveling Facility Maintenance Technician(Mobile General Skilled Technician), you’ll be the go-to expert for maintaining business properties, ensuring they stay in top condition and helping clients avoid costly repairs. Operating from a fully equipped service vehicle, you’ll handle general repairs, small service projects, and deliver inspection and maintenance programs. Your tasks will include troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing various appliances, equipment, and building elements (walls, windows, doors, etc.). You’ll also support our trade-specific technicians with minor HVAC and plumbing services.Key Duties:
Perform general repairs and small service projects
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with appliances and building elements
Conduct inspections and maintenance programs
Provide minor HVAC and plumbing support
Communicate with customers to confirm requests and ensure satisfaction
Adhere to safety procedures and building regulationsSkills and Expertise:
Proficient with power tools (drills, saws, etc.)
Ability to provide repair estimates
Strong safety practicesQualifications:
Proficient with tools and equipment (ladders, etc.)
Polite, friendly, and professional demeanor
Excellent customer service and focus
Strong written and verbal communication
Ability to read blueprints, plans, and diagrams
Budget management skills
Proficient with palmtop computers (cellphones, tablets) for work orders and communicationExperience:
Demonstrated experience in general repairs (painting, carpentry, plumbing) in the commercial marketEducation:
Secondary school diploma or GED required
Preference for trade school education in building-related courses
