An "Agency Without Walls" our services are delivered in homes, communities, schools...wherever our youth are.The Training and Recruiting Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the organization’s human resources and workforce development functions. This position is responsible for coordinating candidate screening and interview scheduling, managing employee training and professional development initiatives, and overseeing apprenticeship and internship programs. Additionally, the role ensures accurate and confidential maintenance of employee records in compliance with organizational policies and applicable regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment SupportConduct initial candidate screenings, including resume reviews and phone pre-screensCoordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managersMaintain applicant tracking systems and ensure timely communication with candidatesSupport recruitment efforts, including job postings, job fairs, and candidate pipeline managementTraining & Professional Development SupportAssist with onboarding and orientation programs for new hiresPlan, schedule, and track internal and external training opportunitiesMaintain training records to ensure compliance with required certifications and continuing educationApprenticeship & Internship Program SupportManage internship and apprenticeship program dataServe as the primary point of contact for interns, apprentices, and job applicantsEmployee Records & HR ComplianceMaintain accurate and confidential employee personnel files (electronic and/or paper)Ensure compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements related to recordkeeping and onboardingAssist with audits, reporting, and document retrieval as neededSupport HR processes including some onboarding, offboarding, and status changesAll other duties as assigned in support of the Tides mission.RequirementsEducation & Experience1–3 years of experience in HR coordination, recruitment, or workforce development preferredSkills & CompetenciesStrong organizational and time management skills with attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsDemonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretionProficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite and Google Work Suite (or similar tools) PreferredSalary Range: $48,000-$53,000 per year plus full benefitsCompensation will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, education, language capacity, skills, and other qualifications relevant to the role, in alignment with organizational parity guidelines and market conditions.The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required to satisfactorily perform essential duties.
