Our success is built on strong leadership, operational excellence, and a culture that values teamwork, accountability, and genuine hospitality.We are seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to help lead daily operations, develop team members, and drive exceptional guest satisfaction in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.Position OverviewThe Assistant General Manager partners closely with the General Manager to oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including guest experience, team development, financial performance, and operational execution. This role requires a hands-on leader who thrives on the floor, leads by example, and is passionate about hospitality and team success.The ideal candidate has strong food and beverage knowledge, excellent leadership skills, and experience managing both front-of-house and back-of-house operations.Key ResponsibilitiesOperations ManagementSupport the General Manager in overseeing all daily restaurant operationsCoordinate front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure smooth and efficient serviceOrganize, supervise, and support daily shiftsMaintain company standards for service, cleanliness, and operational excellenceGuest ExperienceDeliver exceptional hospitality and guest service at all timesRespond promptly and professionally to guest concerns and feedbackEnsure a welcoming and memorable dining experience for every guestIdentify opportunities to enhance guest satisfaction and overall restaurant performanceTeam Leadership & DevelopmentTrain, coach, and develop team members on service standards and operational proceduresCommunicate performance expectations and provide ongoing feedbackSupport recruiting, onboarding, and retention effortsFoster a positive and accountable team cultureFood & Beverage OversightMaintain a strong understanding of food, beverage, and menu offeringsMonitor food quality, presentation, and consistencyAssist in evaluating vendors and sourcing opportunitiesEnsure staff are knowledgeable and properly trained on menu items and ingredientsFinancial & Administrative ResponsibilitiesSupport labor management, scheduling, and cost controlsAssist with financial reporting, forecasting, and operational planningMonitor key performance indicators and contribute to profitability initiativesEnsure proper use of restaurant management systems and reporting toolsCompliance & SafetyEnsure compliance with all health, sanitation, safety, and company policiesMaintain a safe environment for guests and team membersSupport implementation of operational procedures and future growth initiativesQualificationsProven experience as a Restaurant Manager, Assistant General Manager, or similar leadership roleStrong background in full-service restaurant operationsExtensive food and beverage knowledge, including wine, beer, and spiritsExperience delivering high-level guest service in a hospitality-driven environmentFamiliarity with restaurant management systems such as Toast, Paycom, HotSchedules, TripleSeat, RESY, or OpenTableStrong leadership, coaching, and team development skillsUnderstanding of financial analysis, budgeting, and operational planningProficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and related business toolsDegree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Culinary Arts, or related field preferredCompensation & BenefitsSalary: $75,000 – $85,000 annually100% Employer-Paid Health Insurance (Employee Coverage)Dental & Vision Insurance Options401(k) ProgramComplimentary Shift MealsEmployee Dining DiscountsPaid Time Off & Sick LeaveCareer Growth and Advancement Opportunities
