Seasonal winter help/Equipment operator

About us Knight Property Services, Located in Westbrook, Maine is currently seeking individuals to join out team for winter snow removal. We are looking for individuals that are comfortable running a Deere Loader or Cat Skid-steer. A qualified individual would have the opportunity to be on a dedicated route or placed at one of zero tolerance properties during a snow storm. We are also looking for for individuals to help with shoveling and salting snow events as well as winter salt truck drivers. Job Expectations: Will be on call/available for the entirety of the winter season Will be responsible for salting properties in early mornings for freezing or light snow events Will be responsible for immediately treating properties after they’ve been plowed during snow events May be called in to salt properties during ice storm events An acceptable applicant must be: Reliable and punctual Must have experiencing using a salt truck ( Automatic Chevy 5500 with attached salt box) Experience and comfortable using a loader or skid -steer Must have a clean driving record for the salt truck position and a valid driver's license for all other positions Must have a cell phone for texting and messaging This is a great opportunity for individuals that are retired, self employed or those looking to supplement their income for the winter season due to layoffs from seasonal jobs.
