Job Description: As a Finish Processor at Vidor, your primary responsibility will be to prepare surfaces to meet our high-quality standards. You will work closely with the assembly and coatings departments to ensure all bondo touch-up work is thorough and accurate before passing the doors to the coatings department. This role involves hands-on work, including sanding, handling products, performing rework when necessary, and maintaining a clean work environment. Attention to detail, effective communication with your team, and a commitment to quality are essential. Responsibilities: Operate and maintain sanding equipment and tools with precision. Ensure that all surfaces are prepared to company standards before moving to the next production stage. Thoroughly complete bondo touch-ups and other required surface preparations. Monitor the quality of work, making sure all tasks meet our high standards. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure product quality and efficiency. Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment. Qualifications and Abilities: Good manual dexterity and ability to use power tools. Keen attention to detail, especially in sanding and surface preparation. Ability to lift 90 lbs and work in various conditions, including outdoors and on ladders. Knowledge or experience with sanding, paint products, and finish work is beneficial. High school diploma or equivalent. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
