Software DeveloperLocation:Manassas, VA - onsite required Secret Clearance requiredPosition Overview We are seeking a Software Developer to support the design, development, integration, and testing of a next-generation technology platform. This environment includes secure high-availability cloud storage, orchestration tools, advanced networking, edge devices, and modern system management capabilities.The ideal candidate is a motivated engineer who enjoys solving technical challenges, learning new technologies quickly, improving processes, and contributing in a fast-paced Agile environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and enhance custom software applications for mission-critical systemsCollaborate with technical leads and engineering teams on architecture discussions, prototypes, and solution designsParticipate in Agile development activities with small to mid-sized teamsBuild and prototype Linux-based and web-enabled solutions supporting varied application workloadsEvaluate emerging technologies and present recommendations to technical stakeholdersSupport software integration, debugging, and performance optimization effortsTroubleshoot issues across applications, infrastructure, and containerized environmentsContribute to continuous improvement of development processes, automation, and delivery practicesRequired QualificationsHands-on experience with KubernetesStrong Linux experience, preferably Red Hat environmentsScripting experience using BashExperience with Ansible or similar automation toolsSoftware development experience using one or more of the following: C, C++, Java, or PythonStrong understanding of functional and/or object-oriented programming conceptsExperience with containerization and virtualization technologiesProven ability to learn new tools and technologies quicklyStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsPreferred QualificationsDevelopment experience with Python and/or GoAdditional exposure to Kubernetes networking or general network engineering conceptsUnderstanding of Zero Trust security principlesExperience with software-defined storage platformsFamiliarity with Agile full software development lifecycle practicesEducation & Additional RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fieldMinimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience (equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered)Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret ClearanceU.S. Citizenship requiredStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage priorities effectivelyWillingness to support overtime or alternate shifts when requiredExperience working in Agile teams preferredTeam-oriented mindset with strong ownership and collaboration skillsAbout INSPYR Solutions Technology is our focus and quality is our commitment.
