Job Description Safety / Loss Prevention Supervisor Job Title: Safety/LP Supervisor Salary: $70, 300 annually Benefits: Medical, Dental, AD&D Insurance We are seeking a Safety / Loss Prevention Supervisor to join our growing food distribution center team. This position is responsible for promoting a safe, secure, and compliant work environment while supporting daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will lead safety initiatives, ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards, investigate incidents, and help reduce workplace injuries, product loss, and operational risk. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment. Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesMonitor and enforce workplace safety policies, procedures, and OSHA compliance standardsConduct routine safety inspections, facility audits, and risk assessments throughout the distribution centerInvestigate workplace accidents, injuries, near misses, and security incidents;complete detailed reports and corrective action plansLead safety meetings, trainings, and employee coaching sessions on proper safety practices and warehouse proceduresPartner with operations leadership to identify hazards and implement preventative measuresEnsure proper usage of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and safe operation of warehouse equipmentSupport workers compensation case management and return-to-work programsMonitor building security, access control, and loss prevention practices to minimize theft, damages, and inventory shrinkMaintain compliance records, safety logs, incident documentation, and audit reportsConduct emergency preparedness drills and support emergency response proceduresAssist with food safety compliance initiatives and maintain sanitation/safety standards within the facilityCollaborate with HR and management teams regarding policy enforcement and employee safety concernsPromote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the warehouse Qualifications2+ years of experience in safety, loss prevention, security, or warehouse supervision preferredExperience within a food distribution, manufacturing, or logistics environment strongly preferredKnowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety practicesStrong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skillsAbility to conduct investigations and prepare detailed incident reportsProficient in Microsoft Office and warehouse management systemsCPR/First Aid certification is a plusBilingual English/Spanish is a plus Physical RequirementsAbility to walk the warehouse floor for extended periodsAbility to work in varying warehouse temperatures, including refrigerated environments if applicableAbility to lift up to 50 lbs occasionallyFlexible schedule availability, including weekends and overtime as needed BenefitsMedical InsuranceDental InsuranceAD&D InsurancePaid Time OffOpportunity for growth and advancement Full Steam Staffing will consider qualified applicants with a criminal history pursuant to the California Fair Chance Act.
