Spa - Spa Coordinator

Job OverviewWe are seeking an energetic, organized, and service-driven Spa Coordinator to support and lead the daily operations of our luxurious spa, with the experience and leadership mindset to quickly advance into a spa leadership role. In this key role, you will serve as the welcoming face of the spa while ensuring seamless coordination of guest experiences from appointment scheduling through checkout. This position blends front-desk coordination, retail and sales support, facility upkeep, and spa attendant responsibilities to create an exceptional and relaxing environment for every guest.The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about hospitality, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities confidently while delivering outstanding customer service and supporting revenue growth.Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Experience & CoordinationGreet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service from arrival through departureManage appointment bookings using POS and scheduling systems, confirming reservations and coordinating staff availabilityProvide non-licensed spa services, including mineral bath experiences, while maintaining exceptional guest care, safety standards, and service protocolsEnsure excellent phone etiquette when scheduling appointments or responding to guest inquiriesCoordinate guest flow to maintain on-time services and a seamless spa experienceAssist with VIP requests, special occasions, and special eventsAddress guest concerns professionally and escalate to Spa Management when necessary Spa Operations & Attendant DutiesSupport and oversee daily spa operations, ensuring all areas are clean, organized, stocked, and guest-readyEscort guests to lounges, locker rooms, and fitness spaces as neededMaintain cleanliness of locker rooms, lounges, treatment rooms, restrooms, and fitness centerStock and replenish towels, linens, robes, amenities, and retail displaysServe and clean up food and beverage offerings in accordance with spa standardsMonitor guest areas for safety, cleanliness, and comfort, reporting maintenance or safety concerns promptlyOpen and close the spa according to established policies and procedures Retail, Sales & InventoryAssist guests with retail purchases and provide knowledgeable product recommendationsConfidently upsell spa services, enhancements, memberships, and retail merchandiseMaintain retail inventory by stocking products, tracking inventory levels, and merchandising displaysAccurately process payments, handle cash, and complete daily financial and POS reports Team Leadership & Administrative SupportAssist with staff scheduling coordination and daily operational needsSupport Spa Management with administrative tasks and required spa documentationCommunicate effectively with Spa Management, Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, and other departmentsFoster a welcoming, professional atmosphere through strong communication and teamworkUphold luxury service standards, spa etiquette, and brand values at all times RequirementsProven experience in spa, hospitality, retail sales, or customer service environmentSupervisory or team leadership experience preferredFamiliarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and cash handling protocolsStrong communication and interpersonal skills; bilingual abilities are a plusKnowledge of merchandising techniques, upselling strategies, and stock replenishment processesExcellent phone etiquette with a friendly, professional demeanorStrong organizational skills with attention to detailAbility to stand, walk, and move throughout the spa for extended periodsWillingness to obtain Food Handlers and TABC Certificates
