The company is investing heavily in talent, technology, automation, and scalable processes to support future growth and operational excellence.The Senior Manager of Financial Reporting will report directly to a phenomenal Senior Director who is deeply committed to creating a people-first culture where collaboration, mentorship, innovation, and professional development are genuinely prioritized and rewarded.Position SummaryThe Senior Manager of Financial Reporting will play a critical role in supporting the company's accounting and financial reporting function, with a strong emphasis on technical accounting, financial statement preparation, accounting policy, and complex transaction support.This highly visible role will partner cross-functionally across finance and operational teams to evaluate accounting implications of business activities, support the preparation and review of external financial statements and disclosures, and help drive consistency, scalability, and modernization across the finance organization.The ideal candidate will bring deep U.S. GAAP knowledge, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex accounting matters within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role is well-suited for an accounting professional who enjoys solving technical accounting issues, partnering with the business, and contributing to strategic finance initiatives beyond traditional compliance reporting.ResponsibilitiesTechnical Accounting & Financial ReportingManage the preparation, review, and filing of all external and regulatory financial reporting, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and compliance with disclosure requirements.Prepare technical accounting memoranda and supporting documentation for significant accounting conclusionsAssist with the implementation and ongoing assessment of new accounting pronouncements and evolving accounting guidancePartner cross-functionally to support accurate and timely financial reportingParticipate in the monthly and quarterly close processes to ensure accurate financial reporting and consistency across the organizationServe as a key liaison with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audit proceduresContribute to external reporting processes and filing requirements within a public company environmentProcess Improvement & Finance TransformationDrive continuous process improvements focused on automation, standardization, scalability, and reporting efficiencySupport finance transformation initiatives, including system implementations and reporting enhancementsUtilize and optimize financial reporting tools and technologies, including Workiva and other financial systemsContribute to initiatives aimed at improving close timelines, reporting accuracy, and operational effectivenessPartner with leadership on modernization efforts across accounting and financial reporting functionsLeadership & CollaborationMentor and develop team members while fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environmentBuild strong relationships across departments and effectively communicate complex accounting concepts to finance and non-finance stakeholdersSupport special projects and strategic initiatives as business priorities evolveQualificationsExperienceBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required7+ years of progressive accounting, technical accounting, and financial reporting experienceCombination of Big 4/public accounting and public company industry experience strongly preferredStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirementsExperience evaluating and documenting complex accounting transactions preferredCPA requiredTechnical Skills & CompetenciesDeep technical accounting and financial reporting expertiseStrong understanding of consolidated financial statements and disclosure requirementsExcellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExceptional written and verbal communication abilitiesStrong project management and cross-functional collaboration capabilitiesAbility to interpret and apply complex accounting guidance in a practical business environmentExperience with Workiva and financial consolidation/reporting systems preferredAdvanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office proficiencyProcess improvement and automation mindset strongly preferred
