We are seeking engineers who wish to grow their careers and want to become part of a technically strong and growth-oriented company focused on bringing innovative solutions to the difficult mission problems facing our customers.DescriptionWe are seeking a Cloud System Architect who provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Cloud Infrastructure Services hosted in multiple cloud environments. Provides Tier I/II and Tier 3 (Escalation to Architecture Team) resolution of customer capacity requests. Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to management and internal customers. Provide connectivity and utilization support to Cloud Infrastructure Services managed cloud environment customers. Provide customer support through chat, email and capacity request ticketing.Provide Tier I/II support. Follow established guidelines for delivery of cloud based resourcesProvide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of customer resourcesProvide assistance to users in accessing and utilizing cloud based compute resourcesServe as the technical point of contact between the customer and the Architecture and Capacity Engineering teamsMaintain currency of relevant documents and update the Wiki and SharePoint knowledge basesMonitor and respond to chat roomsProvide Tier I/II support. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.Experience Must have nine (9) years of related work experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related technical field. An additional four four (4) years of relevant experience can be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.Required SkillsTerraformAnsibleAWSMust work with little to no prescriptive guidanceStrong knowledge of cloud solutions including but not limited to AWS, OpenStack and Microsoft Azure productsDemonstrated experience using tools like OpenStack, Eucalyptus, OpenShift, and KubernetesMust possess one active mid-level or advanced cloud certification (i.e. AWS, Azure, OpenStack)Development experience with both Linux and Windows workloads using cloud technologies with automation including Amazon Cloudformation, OpsWorks, Ansible, Chef, and DockerDemonstrated experience writing software scripts using languages such as Perl, Python, or RubyShould be able to develop with a DevOps approach for both Linux and Windows workloads using proven, cutting-edge cloud technologies including automation with Amazon Cloudformation, OpsWorks, Ansible, Chef, and DockerMust be able to deploy new cloud production, staging, and test environmentMust take planning seriously and strive for a seamless transition with little to no downtimeShould be able to identify the most agile, scalable infrastructure, and select the best cloud services and technologies for customer projects and plan all implementation proceduresShould be able to automate and deploy cloud infrastructuresDemonstrated experience planning and implementing Infrastructure as a Service (iaaS) and Platform as a Service (Paas) using tools like OpenStack, Eucalyptus, OpenShift, and KubernetesMust possess strong knowledge of a wide range of cloud services and solutions like AWS, OpenStack and Microsoft Azure productsBenefitsErias Ventures provides a complete package of wealth, health, and happiness benefits.
