Sexual Risk Avoidance Facilitator

SGA provides a wide range of social services in some of Chicago's most challenged and consistently underserved communities and creates long-term and community-wide change. The Lets Talk About program is focused on enhancing positive youth development by increasing awareness around sexual risk avoidance education (SREA), through communitywide education, facilitated sessions with youth, and family engagement. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Schedule, coordinate, and arrange logistics for outreach, training, and community events. Experience in a school-based setting. Conduct outreach to market and coordinate trainings targeting a variety of stakeholders including but not limited to schools, libraries, park districts, social service organizations, etc. Facilitate discussion between parents and youth to enhance conversations around development, sexual health, and communication.
