Schedule:Fixed 2-2-3 schedule, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM or 6:00 PM–6:00 AMExtrusion Operator Responsibilities: Set up and operate industrial extrusion machinery. Inspect equipment and supporting systems before production startup. Adjust equipment settings according to production specifications. Monitor machine conditions and critical operating parameters throughout production. Inspect products for visible quality issues and process deviations. Record production information, downtime, and other operating data. Identify and report mechanical, process, or quality problems. Assist maintenance personnel with basic preventive-maintenance activities. Safely operate material-handling equipment as assigned. Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S practices. Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures.Extrusion Operator Skills and Abilities: Strong mechanical aptitude. Ability to operate industrial production machinery. Ability to monitor machine settings and identify abnormal operating conditions. Basic understanding of manufacturing quality requirements. Ability to accurately complete production records. Strong attention to detail and safety. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Overhead crane experience is preferred. Basic computer or production-system experience is preferred. Ability to work a fixed day or night 12-hour schedule.Extrusion Operator Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous industrial machine-operation or manufacturing experience preferred. Extrusion experience is highly desirable but not required for candidates with strong industrial equipment experience.
