Financial Analyst

Overview This is a hybrid position. Must be local to Plano, TX office. Position is open to new grads with a Finance or Accounting background. The ideal candidate will have 0-3 years of experience. SummaryThis position plays a key role for the Company, supporting the organization’s operational analytics for the FP&A team. This individual will support the FP&A Department with KPIs, variance analysis, Business Intelligence (BI) reporting, weekly/monthly reporting packages, post-mortem analysis on actuals versus proformas, and special projects.Essential Duties And Responsibilities Track and maintain relevant KPIs (regional wage rates, Treatment Days, Productivity) for multiple business lines (Skilled Nursing and Senior Living) Monitor weekly/monthly KPI trends – delivering financial reporting by Facility and Customer, highlighting patterns, and performing variance analysis against Budget and forecast Audit Revenue and Cost of Sale trends for leakage and actionable labor initiatives Source Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) census (patient) details from industry tools for pricing Support post-mortem analysis on new business actuals vs. proforma to track and measure bid accuracy on volume, mix, rates, and profitability Assist with development of Business Intelligence reports and dashboards Drive continuous improvement through reporting accuracy and efficiency (using AI where applicable) Attends all mandatory meetings, trainings, and assignments as delegated Must conduct self in an ethical, legal, and responsible manner at all times Must adhere to the policies, principles, and guidance within the Employee Handbook and Code of Conduct Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned CompetencyTo perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Ability to take independent ownership of processes and initiatives Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills (across all levels of organization) Ability to build strong relationships with a diverse population Ability to work in a fast-paced, productive work environment Education/Experience/Computer Skills Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA highly preferred Proficient knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) Solid understanding of relational databases, and experience with BI software Working knowledge of Artificial Intelligence in Finance is a plus
