Sr. Project Design Engineer Lead
Leadership Role :Serve as a pivotal figure in guiding project design leadership. Mentor design leads, fostering their professional growth. Training & Reviews :Spearhead training initiatives for budding design leads. Participate actively in design critiques, offering insightful recommendations. Contractual Responsibilities :Navigate the nuances of Engineer of Record (EOR) contracts. Bridge communication between EORs and in-house teams. Provide input on prime contracts, especially in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) domains. Operational Forecasting :Predict in-house resource requirements aligned with upcoming projects. Champion the creation of streamlined standards and operational procedures. Process Initiatives :Drive or oversee novel process strategies in unison with project design leads. Project-Specific Involvement :Occasionally wear the hat of the primary design lead. Ensure designs are tailored for efficient installation and sustained upkeep. Liaise with Field Operations experts for valuable insights. Relationship Management :Cultivate robust bonds with stakeholders: clients, EORs, subcontractors, and vendors. Embody the company's ethos in all professional engagements. Value Enhancement :Scout for avenues to augment project value via engineering design. Conduct thorough value engineering and financial assessments. Propose viable, cost-efficient solutions with detailed justifications. Travel Commitments :Be prepared for sporadic travels, constituting roughly 25% of the role, to cater to project demands. Must Haves: Educational Qualifications :Holds a Bachelor's in fields like Engineering, Construction Management, or akin domains. Alternatively, possesses a blend of relevant education and hands-on experience. Experience Criteria :Accumulated at least 4 years in areas such as design orchestration, design procedure oversight, or actual design implementation. Specialized Expertise :Demonstrable familiarity with large-scale solar PV initiatives or other green energy ventures.
