This position will be based in our office and will play a vital role in representing clients in complex civil litigation cases. The ideal candidate will contribute to our mission of providing exceptional legal services and achieving favorable outcomes for our clients.General Civil Litigation Attorney - ResponsibilitiesRepresent clients in court during trials and hearings.Conduct thorough legal research and prepare legal documents.Develop case strategies and provide sound legal advice to clients.Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients when appropriate.Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to ensure effective case management.Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting cases.Prepare witnesses for trial and conduct depositions as necessary.Maintain accurate records of case progress and client communications.Draft motions and pleadingsPrepare for and take depositionsAttend site inspectionsPerform medical record review and analysisAssist with discovery process including written discovery, document productionQualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active license to practice law in the relevant states.Strong background in civil litigation with proven trial experience.Excellent legal research skills using tools such as Westlaw.Ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop effective strategies.Strong communication skills for client interaction and courtroom presentations.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for managing multiple cases.Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position and does not include every responsibility or qualification.PayOur salary options will be discussed with a candidate based upon the candidate's experience.
