Qualifications:
The ideal candidate is a people-person with strong computer skills who enjoys helping customers on the telephone and the Internet. Candidate must thrive on providing customer service and have a thorough attention to detail. Knowledge of golf & travel is a plus.
Strong verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills required.
An upbeat, pleasant telephone voice and the ability to gently and politely lead the conversation
Strong computer skills including PC, email, Internet, and the ability to quickly learn new computer programs as technology dictates
Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
A self-motivated team player, who thrives in a self-disciplined environment
Well organized with good time management skills
Duties:
Answering the telephone when customers call to plan and book their golf vacation
Using the computer to plan, quote and book golf vacations
Using the Internet and live chat to walk customers through various options for their trip
Responding by email to on-line golf vacation quote requests
Maintaining contact with customers utilizing top-notch follow-up skills
Opportunities for cross-training as business needs dictate
