Position OverviewJob Posting: Opportunity for an Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) Cardiologist at our organizationJoin our vibrant team and contribute to the well-being of ACHD patients. We are in search of a committed and enthusiastic ACHD cardiologist to enhance our expanding program.Key Responsibilities:Deliver exceptional outpatient and inpatient care to ACHD patients.Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to create personalized treatment strategies.Participate in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows in pediatric cardiology and adult cardiovascular diseases.Engage in research projects and initiatives.Take part in advocacy efforts for ACHD at both state and national levels.Facility and Program Details:Our organization hosts the largest ACHD program in Arizona, recognized as the only ACHA Accredited Comprehensive Care Center in the state. The program includes 24 cardiologists, 13 cardiac intensivists, 3 cardiovascular surgeons, and 24 advanced practice providers. We provide ambulatory cardiac services throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area and have outreach clinics across greater Arizona. As one of the largest pediatric health systems in the nation, we are a premier choice for pediatric care in the Southwest. Inpatient ACHD services are provided at our facility and in partnership with a large academic medical center, which includes renowned institutes for thoracic and neurological care. With access to both ocean and mountain attractions, it consistently ranks among the best places to live in the country.Qualifications:M.D. or equivalent qualification.Board certified or eligible in Pediatric Cardiology through the American Board of Pediatrics.Board certified or eligible in Adult Congenital Heart Disease through the American Board of Internal Medicine.Eligible for medical licensure in Arizona.Affiliations and Academic Roles:Our organization is affiliated with the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix.
