This is a hands-on role requiring active participation in daily warehouse operations, including shipping customer orders, receiving inventory (purchases and returns), sit-down counterbalance forklift operation, loading/unloading, and order processing, while also overseeing truck scheduling, entering inventory receipts in our ERP system, and maintaining inventory accuracy through cycle counts.This role works closely with the Production Manager and Customer Support & Sales teams and requires a positive attitude and strong team-oriented mindset.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESOrder FulfillmentPulling and preparing customer orders accurately and efficiently (pulling, boxing, palletizing, shrink wrapping, banding, etc)Scheduling freight pickups by communicating with various freight carriers and using computer softwareLoading trucks with customer orders (both parcel and LTL) with the sit-down counterbalance forkliftCreating BOLs and shipping labels using our ERP system and other computer programsIssue work orders for component buildsReceivingUnloading trucks and containers of inventoryVisually inspecting materials for damage, documenting issues, and following procedures for filing claims with carriersCounting and checking in inventory as it is received (using ERP system)Stocking shelves when inventory is receivedInventory ManagementPerforming regular inventory cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracyEntering inventory adjustments into the systemMaintaing item weights and locationsPre-packaging various kits and componentsAssist with reorganizing warehouse layout as neededOther DutiesManage forklift, dock, and overhead door preventive maintenance schedulingPhysical DemandsCapable of lifting up to 90 lbs, with the average weight of materials being 50lbs - lift test required during interviewTolerates repetitive motions, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and squattingProficient in keyboarding and data entryAble to work in a warehouse without air conditioning (equipped with large ceiling and exhaust fans)Able to work in noisy environments when near production areasSkills and AbilitiesBasic Microsoft Office Experience (Word and Excel)Strong problem-solving skillsAbility to identify efficiency and process improvement opportunitiesHigh standard for reliability and attendanceAttention to detailAbility to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal)Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work with multiple departmentsWillingness to learn multiple tasks and responsibilitiesAbility to learn international shipping requirementsSit-down counterbalance forklift experience and efficiency - skills test required during interviewHealth & SafetyServe as a member of the Health & Safety CommitteeUnderstand and adhere to company and statutory health and safety requirementsTake responsibility for one's own safe working behavior.Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GEDSchedule:8-hour shiftDay shiftOvertime availableExperience:1 year (preferred) of sit-down counterbalance forklift - skills test required during interview2+ years (preferred) of experience in a supervisory or lead role in shipping/receiving, warehouse, or related environmentLanguage:English (Required)Work Location: Lincoln, NEBenefits:401(k) with company matchHealth, Dental, Vision, and Life insurance (after 60 Days)Health savings accountPaid time offJob SubmissionPlease attach your resume when applying
