A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Full-Time, On-Site, Pharmacy Technician in Duluth, GA! Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. This role is responsible for prescription fulfillment, IV preparation, medication packaging, inventory support, billing data entry, and maintaining compliance with pharmacy standards and regulations. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and experienced working in a fast-paced pharmacy environment. Pharmacy Technician Compensation The pay for this position is $24.45/hr Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment Pharmacy Technician Highlights This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs The required availability for this position is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities · Fill prescriptions accurately under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist · Prepare IV medications and assist with sterile compounding activities in accordance with pharmacy regulations and safety standards · Enter prescription and patient information into the pharmacy computer system for processing and reimbursement support · Collaborate with the Billing Supervisor to support claims processing and reimbursement activities · Assist with prepackaging medications for dispensing according to pharmacy procedures and government regulations · Support the Pharmacist with final prescription checks, including medication staging, packaging, and preparation for delivery · Coordinate accurate and timely delivery of medications to patients and customers · Assist Pharmacy Management with inventory control activities, including receiving medications and supplies, rotating stock, monitoring expiration dates, and supporting physical inventory counts · Maintain accurate documentation of lot numbers and expiration dates · Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy environment · Perform routine equipment checks for calibration, cleanliness, and safety compliance · Follow HIPAA guidelines and all state and federal pharmacy regulations Pharmacy Technician Requirements · Active Pharmacy Technician registration/certification as required by state regulations · Previous retail, hospital, specialty, or infusion pharmacy experience preferred · IV compounding or sterile preparation experience preferred · Strong data entry and computer skills · Knowledge of pharmacy workflow, medication handling, and inventory practices · Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills · Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment · Strong communication and teamwork skills If you think this Pharmacy Technician position is a good fit for you, please reach out to me—feel free to call, e-mail, or apply to this posting!
