Equipment Mechanic

Equipment MechanicFieldBridge Energy seeks an equipment mechanic for 'direct hire' work on our customer's payroll at their Brookshire, TX yard. Will be responsible for assembling, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting various types of heavy equipment and machinery used in construction, manufacturing, or other industries. This includes but not limited to engines, pumps, forklifts, trailers, and other types of heavy equipment.Pay / Schedule: $25-$35/hr. doe, M-F, 6:30AM to 2:30PM, great opportunity for OT pay, healthcare benefits.Key Responsibilities:Follow drawings for assembly of key items: triplex pump, fluid end, boost pump, diesel engine, and hydraulicsDiagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems, and make necessary repairsPerform preventative maintenance and repair on various types of heavy equipmentMaintain accurate work log in the company's ERP systemCommunicate effectively with other team membersMaintain a clean and organized work environment, including tools and equipmentQualifications:High school diploma or GED equivalent requiredMinimum of 2 years of experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenanceStrong mechanical and electrical aptitudeExperience with electrical, welding, fabrication, and hydraulics is a plusStrong attention to detail and ability to work independentlyMust be willing to work overtime if neededMust be able to read and understand service manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
