Physical Education Teacher (St. Francis School)

Position: Physical Education TeacherLocation: St. Francis School (7206 Myron Ave, Cleveland)Type: Full-TimePartnership Schools is currently accepting applications for a Physical Education teacher for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year at St. Francis School. This role is responsible for instruction K-8 students in physical education and health.Partnership teachers are eager for continuous feedback as they develop their instructional practice and grow professionally. At the Partnership we support teachers through weekly school-based professional development, network-wide PD meetings, coaching and feedback sessions from school-site leadership, and nationally recognized partner organizations —Teach like a Champion (TLaC), Amplify, Core Knowledge, etc.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Developing a positive and structured environment that engages students and motivates them to succeed Assuming responsibility for students' progress with a high sense of urgency and ownership toward quantifiable results Collaborating with colleagues to plan units and lessons and develop expertise in implementing instruction Fulfilling the school’s mission to educate the whole child- mind, body, and spirit Creating and communicating with families of students in a positive and respectful manner Participating in ongoing professional developments sessions to grow as an instructional leader The ideal candidate will have: A deep respect for and commitment to preserving and building upon the legacy of urban Catholic education Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a team of teachers both school-wide and across the network A willingness to be reflective and receive feedback in order to grow as an educator Technological proficiency and adaptability Excellent communication skills Flexibility to multi-task, coupled with the ability to set priorities and follow through with results Relentlessness and willingness to do whatever it takes to ensure success Position Requirements: Respect for and appreciation of the Catholic faith and Catholic education An uncompromising belief that all students can learn Bachelor’s degree or higher Must pass a background checkEarly Career Teachers: Teachers with 0-3 years of experience will be paid no less than $42,000. After three years, teachers have the opportunity to earn at least $50,000.Experienced Teachers: We have a pay scale that allows for maximum flexibility when a candidate transfers from another school or district. Salaries are determined based on years of teaching and school leadership experience, and evaluation of instructional mastery and mission alignment through an in-person demo lesson and interview.
