Registered Dental Hygienist

*Overview* We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality dental care and promoting oral health. *Duties* - Conduct dental cleanings and assist dentists during procedures - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices - Take and develop dental x-rays - Maintain patient records accurately - Perform periodontal charting and assessments - Administer local anesthetics - Ensure infection control protocols are followed - Collaborate with the dental team to deliver comprehensive patient care *Requirements* - Proficiency in Dentrix software - Knowledge of pediatric dentistry is a plus - Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation - Understanding of dental anatomy and medical imaging - Ability to assess and provide care for patients - Experience in a dental office setting - Strong skills in infection control Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary Pay: $50.04 - $52.28 per hour Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Schedule: 4 hour shift 8 hour shift Monday to Friday No nights No weekends Ability to Relocate: Nottingham, MD 21236: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
