EEE Senior Procurement Agent

Job Summary Professional Search Group OC is seeking an experiencedEEE Senior Procurement Agent (Contract)to support a dynamic and fast-paced supply chain organization. This role will lead the sourcing and procurement of Electrical, Electronic, and Electromechanical (EEE) components, as well as complex PCB and PCBA solutions across multiple programsfrom prototype through full-scale production. This individual will manage the full procurement lifecycle, working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to support new product introduction (NPI), optimize Bills of Materials (BOMs), and ensure cost-effective, timely sourcing strategies. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in electronics supply chains, contract manufacturing, and supplier risk management, and thrives in an environment where they can take ownership from concept through production. Key Responsibilities Procurement Operations Lead RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes for direct materials. Manage procurement activities across multiple programs and projects. Execute and oversee purchase orders based on BOM requirements. Drive cost savings, quality improvements, and on-time delivery initiatives. Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation. Supplier Relationship Management Lead supplier risk identification, mitigation strategies, and contingency planning. Facilitate supplier meetings, including open order reviews and performance scorecards. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms & conditions. Conduct supplier audits and site visits as needed. Support ongoing supplier development and performance improvement initiatives. Perform additional duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience). 8+ years of procurement experience within aerospace, defense, or a related industry. Strong experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on EEE components. Deep knowledge of PCB and PCBA sourcing, including turnkey and component-level procurement. Experience supporting CPSR compliance initiatives. Strong background in drafting agreements such as SOWs and MSAs. Knowledge of AS9100 standards. Proven experience in supplier development and relationship management. Experience improving processes, procedures, and work instructions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of an organization. Highly organized and adaptable in fast-paced environments. U.S. Citizen and/or Permanent Resident (future security clearance may be required). Preferred Qualifications Experience sourcing electro-mechanical, PCBA, and build-to-print assemblies within contract manufacturing environments. Exposure to Lean Six Sigma methodologies. Data analytics experience (BAQs, SQL, DMT, or query/script creation). Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Deltek. Knowledge of supply chain trade compliance.
