Join a Top Florida Hospital as a Locum Emergency Medicine Physician We are hiring a skilled and seasoned Emergency Medicine Physician to support a locum tenens assignment at a respected hospital on the beautiful Treasure Coast of Florida. This is an important assignment to deliver exceptional patient care in a high-energy and challenging situation. Key Responsibilities: Offer emergency medicine services at the main hospital and an affiliated Free-Standing Emergency Room (FSER) in Vero Beach. Work together in a Level II Trauma Center that receives around 61,000 patient visits each year in the Main ED and 16,000 in the Pediatric ED. Work in a dynamic environment with a 42-bed Emergency Department, including fast track and monitored-bedded areas of specialization. Utilize state-of-the-art equipment including dedicated ED glide scopes and ultrasound machines. Experience a state-of-the-art stroke and interventional cardiovascular program, with a bi-plane and the ability to do therapeutic hypothermia. Work with 24-hour in-house Hospitalists and Intensivists, without floor code or consult responsibilities. Qualifications: Board of Certi??cation in Emergency Medicine (ABEM). Willingness to work at both hospital and FSER locations. Skilled in Meditech, Pdoc, and Dragon dictation systems.
